Show I genrieville The Relief Society social was held for all husbands and wives with a chicken dinner and excellent prograiii and a good turnout Jennifer Asay, Bountiful, is staying with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Johnson, and going to school. Andrea Asay visited here during college break. Dorian Johnson had been working work-ing on Alma Dean Fletcher's new home and lost his footing and broke four ribs. He is up and getting around now. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Willis have had their two daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Larry Head, Boise, Ida., and JoAnn and Mike Coppell, , Reno, Nev., visiting for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Head were on their way to Phoenix to enroll son Robbie in college. They all attended Triessa Ramsay's baptism at the LDS Ward in Tropic. I Thor Johnson took his parents, the Thorley Johnsons, to Salt Lake City where Thorley had an appointment ap-pointment at the Veterans Hospital. They stayed with daughter Diana Sterner and family in Bountiful. They also visited Melvin Quilter who is in Bountiful hospital recovering recov-ering from a stroke. Mr. and Mrs. Layton Smith visited vis-ited in Cedar City with Mr. and Mrs. Rett Shakespear and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Smith. Lula Moore spent some time in the hospital at Salt Lake City for tests to be run. Mary Lou Nielson took her there. They also visited Doyle Nielson at Sunset. Lula went to Page for a week with Mr. and Mrs. Darrcld Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Haycock picked up Rae Smith and they attended at-tended funeral services in Bicknell for Rae's uncle, Henry Giles. Heidi Talbot of Greenwich visit- ed at the Ralph Chynoweth home. Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Shakespear went to Salt Lake City to visit Olafs brothers, LaMar Shakespear in the hospital. Mary Chynoweth traveled to Ogden to keep a medical appointment. appoint-ment. Paula Henrie and Mark Henrie Hen-rie brought her home. The LDS Primary has been reorganized reor-ganized with Artoise Piatt as president, presi-dent, Collette Mathews and Robyn " Callahan as counselors, and Kim Johnson as secretary. The young ladies MIA was also reorganized with Nancy Chynoweth as president, presi-dent, Jeannie Chynoweth and Sandy Johnson as counselors and Shaunell Boger as secretary. A budget dinner will be held on April 14. Members of the Escalante Stake Primary visited vis-ited here on Sunday. Volunteers to help with Saturday's Satur-day's work at the fire house are being be-ing sought. Work begins at 8 a.m. with help sorely needed. Mr. and Mrs. John Morton and the Val Morton family were here, stopping on their way north from St. George. Marilyn Beard and Evelyn Perry brought their mother Thora Partner back home. Thora is being treated for whiplash which she suffered as a passenger when a car struck her daughter, Louise Harrison's, car. Joyce Sorenson of Las Vegas is here to stay a week. Kathryn Waycaster is now home from Lockney, Texas. While there her brother-in-law passed away. Louise Patterson attended a farewell testimonial for a nephew in Sylmar, Calif., then her twin sister Lois and husband Carlisle Hannig came for a visit. Louise and husband hus-band Robert went to Salt Lake City and brought their grandson for a visit. Linda Patterson and Keith Patterson went with them to Vegas on Thursday where they met Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Patterson from Arizona. |
