In their first B game Tournament Thursday of a two-wee- tourna- k ment, the Three Knights squad easily defeated the First Wyoming Bank team, 36--8, and then went on to defeat The Back Forty in theij second contest In their third round of action, the Three Knights faced the favored --to win team from Millers, Miller's had remained undefeated during the season by any of the opponents in scheduled season play. The game was an upset, as the Three Knigh-- ts defeated the ladies, tournament seeded Millers 18-- 6. With only two teams remaining from the original 12 in tournament play, the Three Knights again came against the Back Forty squad, but at the end of seven innings in the championship match, the score was tied at 15- 15. two more inIt took the Back Forty squad nings to take the contest, 17 -- 19, throwing the tournament into the final round of action. Going into that final, each team had one loss. The Three Knights were behind by eight points at one time in the final contest, but a grand slam homer by Donna Reart during fifth inning play, narrowed the margin to , 10-And then in the bottom of the seventh inning, with two outs, the score found Eack Ladies Softball Team above Division Tournament last week in the Evanston Ladies Softball Tournament. Three Knights team members include: Julie Whatcott, Jeannie Limb, Kandee Hoffman, Donna Peart, Christine Thomson, Chris Limb, Jeannie Myers, Dee Anne Brown, Ruth son and Linda Kennedy. IAMB Smith, June Wil- SALE Dan Comia showed the Grand Champion Lamb at the 1983 Rich County Fair held last week in Randolph. His lamb was purchased by the I Lazy P Ranch. The Reserve Champion Iamb shown by Jolynn Jackson was purchased by the First National Bank of Evanston. Other lambs shown by Rich County and L-H- ers, their purchasers , included : Brad Willis, Fred Kipper. Jennifer Rex, Zions First National ft Bank of Randolph. -- V.illis, Federal Land Eank.
