Show GOVERNORS JOIN AT 1983 BEAR full slate A IA KE CONFERENCE of dignitaries from Idaho, Utah and Wyoming met Tuesday on the shores of beautifully blue Bear a Lake for the 1983 Bear Lake Regional Governors' Conference, hosted by Bear lake West II. session opened at 11 a .ip., after landEd Kersch-l- er The ing Governors John Evans of Idaho, of Wyoming and Scott Matheson of Utah, with a welcome and introduction from George Kulme, Chairman , Bear Lake Regional Commission and Bear Lake County Commission Chairm- an. Governor John V. Evans, who acted as host since the session was held in Idaho about 100 feet north of the Utah state line intro -duced Governor Scott Matheson of Utah, and Governor Ed Herschler of Wyoming. A slate of news media people from most Rocky Mountain television, radio and newspapers witnessed as Iyle Tapper, Bear Lake Regional Commissioner for the past decade was honored. then gave special presentations to former Utah Governor Calvin Rampton, and former Idaho Governor Cecil Andrus.
