Brimley's Diner in Lehi promises to make that combination the right mix for a good meal. Owner Bill Brimley, also a former Burger Kingmanager, once worked in food and guest services at the Opryland Hotel. During his time in the South, he took a crash course in the secret of a great recipe for barbecue pork ribs. Now serving ribs made with the famous sauce, Brimley learned the technique from the owner of The Rendezvous, so famous for their ribs that they sell five tons of ribs each week. The business is even featured as a hangout in the movie "The Firm." Ralph Binnall If that background wasn't enough, Bill has also enlisted the help of Keith Alger, former owner of the renowned Keith's Lunch in Provo. "I've been cooking just short of half a century," said Keith. He sold his establishment once, but the deal fell through and he started again for two years, finally relinquishing the business for health reasons. The feisty cook is a hit with the customers, many of whom call him by name when they come in to eat. "If I'm here long enough, Bill will become just like me," he said. As part of her summertime culinary mandate, Teresa always grows a large garden and cans a variety of fruits and vegetables.
