Show v V. . . .,v Symposium To Tell About Dance 768 "What's it all about?" is a question often asked by those who attend modern dance concerts. Some answers will be offered of-fered and dances demonstrated at a symposium Sunday in the Union Little Theater from 3 to 4 p.m. Sponsored by the University At-Home Committee, coordinated co-ordinated by Joan Greer, the symposium is free. It will acquaint ac-quaint theatre-goers with what to expect from "Dance '68" to be presented March 8 and 9 in Pioneer Memorial Theatre by . th modern dance department. At the Sunday symposium, choreographers for the "Dance '68" concert will discuss their ideas and show sections of then works, as well as play music excepts. Costume and set designer de-signer Weldon Hyler will exhibit several sets and costumes. "Dance '68" is directed by Juan Valenzuela, assisted by Connie Jo Hepworth. Both are new to the University dance department, and each has choreographed two pieces for "Dance '68." Other works will be repeats of successful student pieces which premiered last fall, as well as a recreation of a major Doris Humphrey dance, "Water Study."
