Show home in Salt Lake City Monday. Francis Hamilton of Salt Lake City spent the week end nt the home ot Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Crandall. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Enghurg of Salt Lake were the dinner quests Monday evonnig of Mr. and Mrs. Si. C. Whittnker. Mrs. Stephen Deal spent Tuesday iiv Salt Lake City. Miss Carol Bird left Saturday for Denver Colorado, where she will be the guest for a few weeks of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Compton. Miss Olive Childs returned home Sunday after a week's visit in Salt Lake City with Mrs. Wallace Jones. The Misses Ivn and Fay Folders of Salt Lake City will be the guests for two weeks of Luev and Olive Guilds. George Reynolds has been in bed the last, ten days sffering with neuritis. neu-ritis. He is improving slowly. Society Mrs. Olive Childs was the Sunday Sun-day dinner guest of Sir. and Mrs Dimlck Childs. Gerald Averett and Hugh Boyer spent the twenty-fourth of July with Eugene Heck at Nephi. Mr. and Mrs. Deal Mendenhall ot Raymond Alberta, Canada are visiting in Springville for a few days with relatives and friends. Mrs. Ed Hardman and children of Roseburg, Oregon, are visiting for a month with Mrs. Hardman's sister sis-ter Mrs. Marilla Kelly. Roy Mc Keuzie left Saturday for Nevada where he will join, his brothers, Frank and Owen who are engaged in construction work there. Mrs. D. O. Ashcraft spent two days of last week with friends and relatives at Soldier Summit Miss Jessie Knight of Salt Lake City is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Alva Zabriskie. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Zabriskie and family will motor to Idaho next week where they will spend a few days visiting at Oakley and Twin Falls. Miss Mildred Hoffman is leaving Friday for Grand Junction, Colo., where she will visit with relatives. The Fourth ward Bee Hive girls and their teacher Miss Ann Sumsion left Monday morning to spend a week at Castella. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Evans of Eureka were Springville visitors, Sunday. Mrs. Lyman Wilcox of San Francisco Fran-cisco is visiting for a month with her mother Mrs. Rhoda Harfiels. Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Welch and Mr. and Mrs. V. S.-Wilson motored to Strawberry and back Wednesday. Mrs. H. E. Urquhnrt and children spent Sunday at Soldier Summit. Mrs. Ellis Beddoes and son Don, of Salem was the guest last week of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Payzant. Mrs. Lee Sumsion entertained Fri day evening at "Mah Jongg." The guests were Mrs. Amasa Rowland, Mrs. Leon Harrison and Mrs. Lewis Clegg. Miss Coe Deal is spending her vacation in Ogden with relatives. Mrs. I). C. Uniting left Wednesday for Yellowstone National Park. Thev are going by way of Wyoming and return through Idaho. They expect to be gone about two weeks'. Mr. and Mrs. Ora Card of Baker City Oregon were the week end guests of .Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Miner. Mrs. Frank Memory of Columbia spent last week visiting her sister, Mrs. Frank Jenson of Mapleton. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hanner, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Mnckley, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Miner, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Memory, motored to American Fork canyon last week and visited the cave. Mrs. Sarah Lemon of Salt Lake-City Lake-City is visiting for a week with Mrs. Walter Wheeler and family. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Thorpe, and family, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Clyde, Mrs. Willis Strong, Mr and Mrs. H. Tlirope and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Loveridge spent last week at Fish Lake and other points of interest in Southern Utah. Sirs. J. F. Smith entertained nt dinner Monday afternoon for Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Wingntc, Mrs. Viola Roylance and Mr. Wingate's mother. Prof. J. F. Wingate's mother left for her home in Kentucky after spending a month visiting in Springville. Spring-ville. Miss Catherine R. Dougnll entertained enter-tained the Wednesday afternoon club at her home Wednesday, July 30. "500" was played and Mrs. E. A. Petty of Spanish Fork won high score. Miss Eva Berry is in California spending her vacation. Mrs. Reese Gardner of Kansas is spending two weeks with her brother, bro-ther, Robert Davidson, whom she has not seen for 25 years. Mr. and MI'S. IlarvPJ' Brynu, of Kenimever, Wyoming, Will arrive Saturday to spend a day w-ith Robert Davidson. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Crandall of Provo were the guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. D. M.
