Show Girl Jockey Wdl Be Featureof RaceMeet Those in attendance at Milford's three-day Spring Race Meet, set for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 21-22-23, will enjoy an extra thrill when they see in action, for the first time in Utah, Anna Lee Wiley, famous girl jockey and one of the west's most accomplished horsewomen. Mrs. Wiley, daughter daugh-ter of Tom Miller, who djd a fine job as starter for the races last fall and will serve in that capacity capaci-ty again this spring, is now located locat-ed at Beaver, helping' wtth the training' of a string of horses (from Agua Caliente, and expects to be "in the money" every day of the Milford meet. 1 "As pretty a blonde as ever danced in a Broadway musisal," was the description given Anna Lee Wiley by a leading Texas newspaper when she was granted her jockey's license by Agua Caliente Cali-ente race track officials. Judge George W. Schilling, presiding steward for that famous track, who granted her the permit, added add-ed that she was "one of the best whip riders he had ever seen and in every way the equal of some of the best male jockeys." One of her most sensational performances as a jockey took place this spring when she won the colorful Coronado Town Plate for women, run on the Caliente track.
