Blackburn, Black-burn, Christian Olson and H. M. Jar vis. .Petition of Joseph Buzzo, et ah, asking that an election precinct be established at Copper Mountain, presented. E. B. Kirk urged that . it be granted. Referred to Judge Steed to report at next meeting. Supervisor Nels Anderson called attention of Court to condition of j roads leading to Devil's Gate Val- ley; thought something should be done. Matter deferred. Court's attention was called to case of Peter Peterson, indigent. Matter referred to Committee on Poor. Petition of L. V. Standing et al., asking that a school district be created out of that portion of the county within the limits of Sunset precinct. Also a petition signed by A. H. Gleason et al, and a letter from F. W. Richards, remonstrating remonstra-ting against said move again called up. Matter referred to County Supt. to report on same at next meeting. Report of inquest held at Terrace, Utah, referred back to Coroner for completion. Petition of D. K. and L. Kemp-ton Kemp-ton to close up the Clear Creek county road, and have new one opened, also a reuionstance from Newton Neat et al., praying that road be not closed, presented. Petition Peti-tion of Messrs. Kemp ton not granted. grant-ed. Claim of Driver & Son against the County for $20.25, deferred to next meeting. J A large number of claims were allowod. Application of J. C. Gasberg and Wm. Jensen for the appointment of Deputy Sealer of Weights and Measures for Boxelder County, referred re-ferred back on account of there being be-ing no vacancy. ' On request, road petition of H. W. Zenor and 49 others with- ; drawn. ! Petition of D. D. Ryan et al. not ; granted. Boundary lineof Sunset precinct was ordered changed. Letter from C. L. Stephenson. Secy. Irrigation Commission for Utah, asking County to appropriate $75 to assist in properly advertising advertis-ing Utah in the Denver Irrigation Convention first week in Sept.. presented. Deferred until next meeting. Court adjourned until Sept. 3. |
