The ten-months-old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Tippets of Three Mile Creek, died Sunday night. The little one was laid to rest by the sorrowing parents and friends on Monday of this week. Wednesday the 11 year old son of Mrs. Wlntaker, postmistress of Snowville, broke one of his arms. He was playing with another child, when he fell, doubling one arm up under his body and snapping the bone in two. The latest crop report concerning concern-ing our county is as follows: Wil-lard, Wil-lard, Deweyville, Brigham City. Dry and windy; cool nights. Cutting Cut-ting second crop of lucern for seed; grain nearly all in, and threshing begun; crop above the averago. Corn and potatoes doing well. Friday morning just at daybreak, day-break, J. S. Dudley's bam was discovered dis-covered on fire. In a few minutes the barn and contents of 40 tons of hay were consumed. Furniture was taken from the house, but unless un-less heavy winds begin blowing nothing else will be burned. There was some insurance on the barn. |
