Show Wayne Gardner To Attend Stockmen's Meet In Denver July 15 To 25 Wayne Gardner will represent the sheep and goat interests of the state of Arizona at a conference to be held in Denver on July 15 to 25. Mr. Gardner is one of two men appointed from the Arizona districts dis-tricts the other one being Tony Walters, Arizona stockman, who will represent the cattle interests. This meeting is a follow-up of the meeting held in Phoenix last March at which the representatives representa-tives present outlined code practices prac-tices for Region 9 which includes part of Arizona. A study was made and recommendations presented pre-sented for Region 9. At that time I representatives were selected to represent all of the districts in Arizona at this meeting in Denver. Representatives of the various districts throughout the 11 western states will attend this coming meeting. Code practices and recomendations will be formulated by those present which will be submitted to the Secretary of the Interior for a Federal Range Code. Mr. Gardner pointed out that a Code is the yard stick by which range rights, are adjudicated. He states that he and the other representatives rep-resentatives will welcome any suggestion that stockmen have to offer. The present practices have been in force for a period of five years, with various changes having hav-ing been made as it was deemed necessary. The group of representatives represen-tatives will now meet for the purpose pur-pose of selecting the practices that will become more or less permanent. Mr. Gardner plans to leave here on July 13.
