Goldie was born in Kansas, July 7, 1919 to Edward Ed-ward William & Ellen Christine Chris-tine (Anderson) (Ander-son) Anderson and moved to California at approximately age 18 where she lived most of her life. She was married to Jay Dee L Anderson, April 8, 1941. They celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary this year in their new home in Lehi, Utah. Goldie was very active in the American Legion Auxiliary and served many positions. She was the President for the State of California twice. She was honored with a Service Award from Long Beach Veterans Hospital for serving serv-ing over 10,000 hours of volunteer service.
