It is a somewhat some-what differently constructed machine to the one imported to this city by John W, Young, Esq., although the principle is almost the same. This machine is larger and consequently more powerful, being calculated to draw from twenty-five to fifty tons. It moved through the streets with great ease, being under perfect control, turning turn-ing as readily as au ordinary team. One of the superiorities claimed for this machine, and which is covered by a patent, is the peculiar construction construc-tion of the wheels, which have a tire composed of, India rubber cylinders, cylin-ders, held in place by iron stirrups, which ' give under ' the weight of the machine as the wheel revolves. The pump by which the boiler is supplied with water is also a new invention, and patented, in fact the machine is covered bv'some seven Datents. Mr. Hyde takes this machine back to Corinne, from whence it will be shipped across the Lake by steamer to Clinton's landing, thence to to the East Canon mines, whence it is intended in-tended to haul ore to supply tho ' steamer City of (. , . .." - TO OPHIB, STOCKTON, iC L-'T Clouser, Dr ' Brewner, Mr Hosmer, C D Handy, II B Manchester, Manches-ter, D H Allen, C C Perkins, Col Paxton, Col Laurston, J Thompson, K A Van. ...
