Show HINCKLEY . . t Mrs. Lillian Taylor has returned from a trip to California where she visited with her son and his wife. Mrs. Nephi Stewart is home now after a trip and visit to Nevada with her son Eric and family. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Palmer and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Workman spent several days in Salt Lake last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hilton returned return-ed to Mountain Home Tuesday. Mrs. Edward Humphries visited in Springville with her daughter this week. Merlene Moody, student at the BYU spent the week end here. Miss Virginia Maxfield of Salt Lake City spent last week here visiting with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Maxfield.' Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hilton went to Salt Lake for the conference. Mrs. Eva H. Roberts and small son David, returned Monday to her home in Ogden after spending the past two weeks visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hilton. PLAY The M.I.A. will present a 3-act play, "Light for Tomorrow" in the high school auditorium next Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at 8:30 p.m. The play is being directed by Joseph Buchanan, drama director. The play has a large cast and much work and effort has been put forth on it. -SCOUT PARTY Boy Scouts and partners held a surprise party Tuesday evening after af-ter Mutual in the Elementary school, honoring Arthur H. Reeve, scoutmaster. Games and refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed by the group. Mr. Reeve was then presented a gift in appreciation for his efforts put forth with the boys in scouting scout-ing work. |
