When using chemicals, poison bait or machine work for pest control con-trol be sure you do the job when it does the most good. Don't just do the work when it is most convenient con-venient to do. "Land Boom Leads to Bust" The behavior of land values now is very similar to what it was in the last boom. Since this war started, start-ed, farm values for the United States as a whole have risen at almost al-most exactly the same rate as they did during the last boom period. peri-od. Values now stand at almost two-fifths above the average immediately im-mediately before this war. To say that we are not on the road to highly inflated land prices now would be to deny that we had a boom before. Then, as now, purchasers pur-chasers just refused to believe that land prices were inflated, because they thought they would always have a market for their products at high prices.
