Jeffery, the new president of the Western Pacific, elected at the meeting of the board of directors Friday, Is a Gould man from the sole of his feet up, and is thoroughly Imbued with the Gould ideas. Mr. Jeffery has been with the Rio Grande long enough to know the Gould methoda, and when he makes up his mind to get something, he generally gets it.
