Lions Club Will Sponsor Birthday Calendar for P.G. New in Pleasant Grove this year will be the Community Birthday Calendar sponsored by the local Lions Club. The Birthday Calendar is designed de-signed to make our Pleasant Grove community even more friendly. Birthdays, anniversaries, anniversar-ies, important school and church functions will be listed, clubs and social functions will be scheduled and dated. Servicemen Ser-vicemen and missionaries birthdays birth-days will be indicated on the calendar. Kickoff date is set for Sept. 2 and during the first week of September members of the Lions Club will visit every home in the community and give you an opportunity to subscribe sub-scribe for the calendar and list all family birthdays, anniversaries anniver-saries and servicemen information informa-tion for publication. A flat rate of $2.00 per family fam-ily for all listings will be asked and the calendars will be delivered de-livered before Jan. 1. Recent civic improvement by the Lions Club include two double faucet drinking fountains foun-tains at the Little League park, refinishing of the table at the Lions Shelter and a drinking fountain at the shelter.
