FORESTJERVICE Assistant Foresters Homer Fenn of the grazing department and R V R Reynolds of the operation department havo gone to the Nevada forest, headquarters head-quarters at Ely, for a three weeks' trip of inspection. Application has been made for the annexation of the Sheol Creek country, coun-try, Immediately south of Ely, to the Novada forest, or, to make It a forest for-est In and of ltbelf and the foresters have gone there to mako careful Investigation In-vestigation regarding the feasibility of the proposed annexation. Assistant Forester Lester E. Hitchcock Hitch-cock has been dispatched to Vernal to assist the supervisor there in handling hand-ling that section of the forest service D S. Pack of the Palisade, Idaho, forest, has beon transferred to the Nebo, Utah, forest, with headquarters at N'ephi, to fill the vacancy occasioned occasion-ed by the resignation of Supervisor H. F. Dudley A L Smith of the Manti forest, with headquarters' at Ephraim, has been called to take charge of the Palisade. Idaho, forest and Assistant Forester A W Jensen, having charge of the solicitor's office here, has beeu appointed to take chargo of the Mantl forest Mr. Jensen's home is at Ephraim, for which reason he Is pleased pleas-ed to make the change. District Forester Sherman states that the changes made are agreeable to all the men, each getting that which he most desires In the service nn |
