Show Push Richmond and Prosper Is the Slogan RICHMOND, Dec. 17. Ezra Hamp ofjihls place was very painfully surprised sur-prised to receive a telegram last Sunday Sun-day stating his son, John, would be brought to a Logan hospital Monday from Mllner, Ida., where he has been working for some time, to undergo an operationfor appendicitis. The case wu more critical than was at first supposed for at Mlnadoka the young man's appendix broke and he was hurried hur-ried on to Ogden. The wait and change of cars at Cache Junction necessary nec-essary to get to Logan would, mean death to him. At this writing he Is resting easy and It is expected he will pull through. J. H. Stoddard who recently moved here from Downey, Ida., has com-menced com-menced the ereotion'of a small building build-ing just east of the bank. When completed com-pleted he will conduct a barber shop. The Richmond Industrial club held a long meeting Thursday night and discussed conditions existing in our city with a view of bettering them. Several members were present and all were enthusiastic in their support of "Push Richmond and Prosper." Wednesday in the Logan temple, Andrew Feltman and Miss Tyra Chrlstofferson of this place were married. mar-ried. The couple came home In the eVenlng to be welcomed by a jolly crowd of their friends who showered congratulations congrat-ulations on them. Another couple who are happy in their new wedded life is Louis Soren-son Soren-son and Miss Fanny Hope. They too were married in Logan Wednesday and returned home in the evening to be welcomed by their many friends. The city council passed the waterworks water-works ordinance which gives the law concerning the city water system Monday last. Several copies of the law have been printed and hung up at different places in the city. It would be well for all to read them, We mention men-tion the postolllce, coop and drug stores whore copies may be seen. Ed. Webb Is the happy father' of a line girl, the little one arriving Monday.
