Mrs. Diane Baszcynski has been confined to the St. Benedicts Hospital undergoing treatment for a serious illness. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Sheffield of Brea, Calif, visited with his mother, Mrs. Edith Sheffield, and other relatives of the area. Bishop Farrell Benson, Paul Lindley, Rex Lindley and George J. Kershaw, accompanied the boys of the Kaysville 8th Ward on a five day outing to Lake Powell. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bennett and son Jeremy arrived from Columbia, Md., to visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Summertime Cooking Class to get some new food ideas. It will be held July 28 at I p.m. in the USU Extension office (second floor, Sheriff's Annex) in Farmington. While attending WSC she edited the campus literary magazine "The Metaphor" and won second place in the fiction writing contest. She also edited a textbook for the heredity department. She is the wife of Lex Marcuscn. Mrs. Helen Barnes visited in Burley, Ida. with her two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barnes, and Mr. and Mrs. John Barnes and their families. While there she attended the baptism and confirmation of her granddaughter, Heather Barnes, and the blessing and naming of a new grandson, Bradley Ralph, both children of Charles and Linda Barnes.
