Well, lets put it this way. At a time when sports agents are becoming as competitive as the athletes they represent, Reich likely is No. 1 and on the verge of establishing a dynasty. He began with just one client 12 years ago, a promising young pitcher out of the University of Pittsburgh named George Francis Doc Medich, and today Reichs stable (he prefers the word family) has grown to 75. "I never dreamed this business would become so expansive ... that it would explode like it has, the Pittsburgh-base- attorney conceded d in an in- terview. Reich has adjusted nicely, however. Rather than turn an athlete who wanted to join the family away, he simply kept expanding his staff to keep pace with the growth. As a result, the Reich and Landman Professional Cor- poration now totals five attorneys and five other support people.
