Show feee URGENT We are in dire need of Active Block Leaders in the Central City Area. The responsibility of a Block Leader is to: 1 — Pass out flyers to people in their block and inform them of Community problems and special events. 2 — Check with the residents of their block at least once a week to see if they have problems that CAP Staff can assist with. 3 — Hold block meetings periodically to acquaint the people in the block with each other. 4 — Work with their Area Representatives and CAP Staff to help the people in their block and keep them acquainted with ways to solve their problems. Anyone interested in doing this please contact the Community Action Program 322-2436. We need Area Representatives very badly; we need people who are willing to spend some time to help the Neighborhood Council bring about an effective change to better the Central City Community.
