I Wllllo Owens, aged 11 years, 11 I months and 16 days, son of Mr. and I Mrs. John P. Owons of this city, pass- I cd to the great beyond last Saturday I night after a lingering (Illness of I threo weeks, lie was operated upon I for appendicitis Saturday Oct. 19th, I the appendix having burst, however, I prior to the operation. Impressive funeral services were I held at the Garland hall Monday at I 11 a. m Bishop W. L. G rover pre- I sided and tho ward choir furnished H appropriate music. Singing, "Want- H od on tho Other Side." Prayer by H Peter Jensen. Singing, "O Grave H Where is Thy Victory," Miss Estello B Hydo rendering the solo." H Tho following speakers offered words of consolation to the boreaved fl family and paid a high trlbuto to the PH sterling character of young Willie H Owens: .Ulshop Clark of Fielding,. H J. C. J. Sliumway, Mrs. Mantlna J Jensen and Mrs. Maggie Wlxom sang, H "Nearer My God to Thee." Bono- H diction by D. 12. Manning. Those WL present wcro permitted to vlow tho rttiiiaiiiH.
