Since 1935 he has served for the LDS as a Patriarch church. IN CIVIC Lire, he has served on the City Council and as city marshal, as well as many years of service as county clerk. He operated a local fruit tarm and was head of the Brigham City Fruit Growers association for many years. As a family man, Valentine is the father of seven living children.
