She was reared and educated in Brigham City. SHE WAS married to Lawrence Berg, Feb. 27, 1889, in the Logan LDS temple. They made their home in Brigham City. Mr. Berg died m 1934. After his death, she made her home m California for several years, later returning to Brigham City. An active member of the LBS church, Mrs. Berg served as counselor and then as president of the YWMIA for eight years. She worked m the Sunday school and Relief society of the Third ward An avid genealogical research worker, Mrs. Berg had taught genealogy classes and served on the stake committee. She also was affiliated with the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. MRS. BERG has been recognized as being chosen as one of the first Peach Queens during the early days of the Peach Days celebration.
