Show Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and girls, Shelia, Suellen, Carol and Ruth, and Annette Haycock were Salt Lake visitors Wednesday. A fire apparently caused by soot in a flue damaged some $400 worth of clothing at the residence of Benton Boyd early Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Caldwell of Murray were visitors Monday of Mr. and Mrs. David Houser and family. Mrs. Houser is the former Maxine Caldwell of Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Seal and daughter Joy were dinner guests and spent a very enjoyable evening even-ing with Mr. and Mrs. Max Seal and family and Miss Beverly Seal of Midvale last Friday. Kenton Reed and Miss Donna Reed of Salt Lake City spent the week end with their parents, Mrs. Carrie Reed and Mr. and Mrs. James Reed. LARK WARD MIA GOLD AND GREEN BALL HELD Lark Ward MIA held its annual an-nual Gold and Green ball Sat- urday evening, January 29 in the wardhouse. Proclaimed a great success it was greatly enjoyed by everyone who attended. An outstanding floor show was presented pre-sented which included: a waltz by Nykki Alverson and Ronald Kinsley, Gwen Sandstrom and Blaine Peterson, Meriam Peterson Peter-son and Billy Thomas, Jayne Bieler and Cal Crump, Shirley Anderson and Freddy Peterson; ballet quartet by Nykki Alverson, Alver-son, Gwen Sandstrom, Shirley Anderson and Betty Gressmen; tap dance by Carol Steel and Mary Lou Ball followed by the coronation of the queen. Meriam Peterson, crowned queen, and her attendants were Gwen Sandstrom Sand-strom and Betty Gressmen. Their escorts were Bernarr Beard, Cal Crump and Guy Steadman re-snectivelv. MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. John Mumford of Midvale announce the mar-fiage mar-fiage of their daughter, Darlene to Donald Kinsley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Kinsley of Lark. The marriage took place February 2.
