Coimii 1 1, i Location: 255 East 300 North, Gunnison, UT 84634 Project Description: Intent to Approve Modification to Add New Equipment at Central Utah Correctional Facility. The State of Utah has requested a modification to Apfor proval Order BAQE-170-9- 1 Central Utah Correctional Facility (CUCF) by adding one natural gasoil fired boiler rated at 16.75 x 06 Btuhr and three diesel powered standby generators. Primary use of the new boiler is to match mild season loads and low summer loads because the existing boilers have limited modulation capacity due to their large capacity. The new and existing boiler will operate on natural gas unless there is a curtailment of service, during which fuel oil is used as a back-u- p fuel. This source is lo1 cated in Gunnison, Sanpete County, an attainment area for all Clean Air Act criteria pollutants. The new boiler is subject to New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) under 40 CFR Part 60 Subpart Dc(Small Industrial Institutional Steam Generating Units). Because this source is an NSPS source, this also falls under the 40 Cl R Part 70 or CA A Title V regulations. There will be a 30-dpublic comment period prior to issuance of the approval order. ay The Proposed Emissions incrcasse will be (A negative sign tK J 1. n : i I in in mi "'i,.-- , I ; I - ; ' u I 1 .1 . i t I cility lilate li C.i-- .
