Show I BREAKING AWAY I I SomcDissciititic ITIormons Organize u Reform Club The following handed into Tun DEMOCRAT I DEMO-CRAT today explains itself and is printed without comment At a meeting of the Mormon Reform I Club last evening the following preamble and resolutions were ndopted i I WHEREAS The chief men of our Church aro in exile or incapacitated from active I service and the nominations for the approaching ap-proaching elections are likely to be controlled con-trolled in tho future as in the immediate I past by unprincipled demagogues and WHEBEAS We desire to exercise tho right I of free men and choose those men irrespective irrespect-ive of party or sect who will enact such laws and carry out such parposes as will i i produce the greatest benefit to tho entire I community therefore I I Resolved 1 That we pledge our votes and moral support to those men and those only whom we believe will bring about tho greatest great-est good to tho greatest number Resolved That whilo we desire the goodwill I good-will of all men nevertheless we promiso to obey the lawof God as written in our hearts and on our consciences without regard to f the dictation of anyone By order of Mormon Reform Club |
