The Republicans will hold a convention next week for the nomination of certain candidates. -Without any desire to be intrusive we still suggest sug-gest that as a sub-committee of the Senate . is coming hero to hold a few selsslons, it will not be a good plan to nominate any one who on the coming of the committee would feel it a duty to r,o away fishing, or to the Louisiana Purchase exposition or to hunt up Apostle Taylor. It would not be just the thing for any witness to be ob liged to testify that certain of the candidates held H to the same views (and for same reason) that E does President Joseph F. Smith, touching the H times when a man should obey the laws of the H United States and then again the higher law.
