Show Fairview Wednesday evening Dec. 4th, a number of the officers and members ' of the Relief Society went to the home of Alberta Brady and gave her a very j pleasant surprise., A short program j was carried out including refreshments, j after which the evening was spent in j games and social chat. Mrs. Brady's husband is performing missionary work in India. One of the most pleasant and successful suc-cessful events of the week was a dancing danc-ing party given by the Ladies Literary Club Dec. 6th. The hall was beautifully beauti-fully decorated in pink and white, the club colors. Three small girls dressed in pink and white stood in a decorated booth and served free punch to all. Excellent music was served by the Snow Academy Grchestra. Two more hearts were made to beat as one. Ray Brady and Rozeltha Hamilton were married Wednesday Dec. 11th, in the Salt Lake Temple. They are arming Fairviews popular young people. We extend to them our congratulations. Mrs. Betsy Jensen and daughter of Grand Junction are here visiting friends and relatives. Hazel Brady, twelve year old daugter of Willis Brady, was accidently shot last Sunday. Her brother was preparing pre-paring to gj rabbit hunting and the gun was accidently discharged, twelve shots lodging in her back, which were afterward removed without serious injury. John L. Bench and Amasa Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen went to the Reservation last week to look at the country. If it suits them they will probably invest in reale state. Both have relatives there to visit. The home of C. O. Pederson was maae happy last isunday by the arrival of a bouncing baby boy (fourteen pounder.) This is the second boy in a large family of girls. Sunday evening a family dinner j party was given at the home of L. E. IMWBMUflMmSSSaSaSMSS.HH.HHHHHM Brady in honor of his son Ray and his bride to be. An excellent dinner was served to over thfrty guests and the evening was spent in music, games ank social chat, and some timely advice ad-vice given to the bride and groom. |
