O Cal CeJ Tuesday at the age of 78 after an illness of or several years I A special dispatch to The Salt I Lake Telegram said Wednesday the body of ot Mrs Eccles will be brought to Ogden for funeral services and burial No arrangements yet have been definitely completed A pioneer of ot Utah Mrs migrated to Huntsville in 1867 During DurIng During Dur Dur- ing the past several years she had spent her summers at her home in Ogden and her winters in Los An An- geles Since Mr death in 1912 Mrs irs Eccles had been prominently Identified with church and social work in the state She was a leader lead lead- er In the Child Culture society the Martha society the L. L D. D S. S Relief society and the Daughters of or Utah Pioneers She also served as a member of ot the board of or regents of or the University University sity of Ut Ut 1 under an appointment made by former Governor Simon Bamberger While residing In Los Angeles she took an important part partin in L. L D D. S. S work there Born in Denmark January January January Jan Jan- uary 30 1857 a daughter of Christen and Marcia Maren Andersen Jensen Mrs Eccles crossed the plains by ox oxcart oxcart oxcart cart as a child with her family who were converts to the L. L D.
