Show Alpine News Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter Kenneth McDaniel, who is employed em-ployed at Washington, D. C, has spent the past several weeks here visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. McDaniel. Thursday of last week, accompanied by his mother moth-er and sister, LaRae, and his aunts, Mrs. Joseph H. Beck of Provo, and Mrs. Archie McDaniel of Salt Lake, he motored to Lyman, Wyoming, where they spent several days visiting visit-ing with his brother, William, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Strong and twe children and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Strong and children motored to Castle Dale Saturday to visit their sister, Mrs. Mattle Larsen, and children. chil-dren. They returned home Monday evening. They also attended the Castle Dale yearly celebration. " The marriage of Mrs. Hazel Ner-din, Ner-din, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Hunter, and Roger Price of Lehi, took place Friday. In the evening the parents of the bridegroom entertained enter-tained at a reception in their honor at Lehi. A number of Alpine relatives rela-tives and friends attended. The young couple will make their home in Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Bennett and children and Mr. D. W. Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bates and children, Mr. and Mrs. Loy Beck, Mrs. Benjamin Benja-min Bates, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bates and children, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Healey, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Carlisle, Mr. Sheldon Hamnett and Mr. R. P. Carlisle attended the Mercur day celebration September 6th. Mr. and Mrs. John F. Moyle and Mrs. Reba Booth were visiting relatives rela-tives in Provo Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Terry were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vesper Ves-per Diamond at Springvllle. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Lewis are moving mov-ing to American Fork. Another of those good dinners and an entertainment will be given I in the ward amusement hall Friday afternoon and evening. The proceeds pro-ceeds will go toward paying for tha church building. o |
