Show TWENTY GIRLS GIVE PLIliniEIT Membersof Friendly Club Entertain at Neighbor- hood House. Two playlets, in which twenty young girls from the Friendly club tools part, were given last night in Neighborhood House, 753 West First South street, before be-fore a large audience. The first playlet was "A Pageant of Hours," w-hile the other was a rural comedy skit, "The Return Re-turn of Letty." These were the first entertainments of the year. The children were directed by Mrs. A. J. Olson, assisted by Miss Stella Cohn, who is director of the club. The pageant, in which fourteen young people took part, told the story of each hour of the day from dawn to night and was very capably handled. The comedy was appreciated ap-preciated and the acting of the youngsters young-sters was well received. In the pageant these gir'.s took part: Marguerite Mcllvaine, Pearl Clegg, Evelyn Eve-lyn Nelson, Vera Searle, Sarah Olsen, Mildred Lindgren, Grace Xeuliart, Lillie McGonigle, Florence Klenk, Mabel Mo-Donald, Mo-Donald, Florence Husted, Mildred McDonald, Mc-Donald, Sarah Quinn and Thelma Lu-beck. Lu-beck. Cloeleta Klenk had the lead in the rural play, assisted by Marie Kloos, Katherine Thomas. Jennie Eullough, Stella Cooper and Grace Neuhart. |
