The heaviest crop of tomatoes to-matoes Is tributary to Weber county's thirteen canneries. Tho canneries that will be in operation this year aro: Weber County is Davis 7 Box Elder '5 Utah 3 Salt Lako 2 Morgan 1 Total 31 It Is estimated that theso canneries will put up S00.000 cases of tomatoes, each caso containing 21 cans of the best grade of tomatoes ever canned. The Industry will bring to tho state In cash, something like $1,500,000 and will pay out In salaries from $230,000 to $300,000 most of which will be earned by home people Aside from tomatoes these will be canned 175.000 cases of peaches, 25,-000 25,-000 cases beans, 25,000 cases cntsup, I'l...llll I.
