Show I " Local A large group of Springville firemen and their partners joined those of the Utah-Juab County Firemen's association at a quarterly quar-terly meeting and outing in Bal-! Bal-! sam park, Sunday. President ! James Meason of Spanish Fork was in charge. A short business meeting in which it was decided to hold the next quarterly meeting meet-ing at Mammoth, on Octoher 10, was held and sports of various kinds were enjoyed. Lunch was served to about 30 firemen and guests in attendance. Among the families camped at J the state Black Hawk celebration I at Spanish Fork this week are: 1 Mr. and Mrs. John Whiting, Mr. 1 and Mrs. A. O. Thorn, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fullmer, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Stev-en Dallin, Mrs. Julia Dallin, Mr. and Mrs. Basset Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Shlpton Oakley, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Miner. The Springville Legion auxiliary auxili-ary quartet won first place in Die contests at the state conven-P conven-P ' tion at Price last week. Included , in the quartet were Mrs. Olive Miller, Mrs. Hilda Grant, Mrs. Florence Boyer and Mrs. Floss Phillips. |
