Show BASKET BALL MATERIAL FOR THIS SEASON LOOKS PROMISING TO HIGH COACH Regular basketball practice started last week at the Milford high school and with eleven men turning out, four of whom are lettermen, the prospects of a league championship team are promising, according to Melbourne Heslington, Milford high school coach. The material this year is better than usual for in addition to Claude Horton Sherman Hickman, Robert Killam and Lawrence Easton, experienced players play-ers and lettermen, the seven new men are making an excellent showing and will give coach Heslington pelnty of choice in lining up his first string players. Nornlan Andrews, one of the new prospects, sophomore with two years credible football record, is adapting himself to basketball as readily as he adapted himself to the various positions posi-tions he occupied on the football team. Robert Killam, not only satisfactorily satis-factorily filled his position as center last year but also proved himself an able scorer, while Lawrence Easton credibly occupied his position as guard. With these men as the backbone of his team and plenty of newcomers to fill vacancies and serve as substitutes coach Heslington states that all he needs to accomplish his hopes of sending send-ing a team to the state tournament this year is teamwork and the cooperation co-operation of his players. He will meet with Delta, Fillmore, Minersville, Beaver and Hinckley re-j presentatives December 13 at Cedar city to help arrange the schedule for the league games this season.
