Show Whistling Golf Club Is Invented by Missourian A golf club that emits a loud whistle when the ball is hit true is the inven-ton inven-ton of Willie Dunn of Clayton, Mo. The club, a driver with steel shaft, has a large hole In the bottom of its head, which is provided with a hollow sound chamber inside. When the club is swung at the correct angle and with the proper speed, the air entering the hole produces a clear whistle which can be heard at some distance from the player. Dunn, who is known around the world as "the grand old man of golf," is said to have played golf at the age of three, C3 years ago, in. Scotland.
