Show PANGUITCH Ida Webb has returned from the funeral Saturday of her son-in law Fred Parker at Pleasant Grove. He died on the third of July. Ida and other relatives have received word that her brother Ott Hatch is seriously ill at St. George. Keith and Michael Crosby, sons of the late Theron Crosby visited over the 4th with the Jay Crosbys. Jay and Maxine took them home to Salt Lake City and also took Lynn and Layne to the Primary children's hospital for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Little field are parents of a baby boy born July 2nd grandparents are the Ira Littlefields of Tropic and the Joe Hughes of Can-nonville. Great grandparents are Thora Dean Hughes of Panguitch and Isma C; Henderson of Salt Lake City. Janet Leatham of Ogden and two children, Jennifer and Jeff have been spending a week vith her mother Cleo Hatch. Proud grandmother, Mary Black and David Black flew to Lafayette, Indiana, to welcome tiny Kirstln Roundy, daughter of Theron and KayLynn Roundy and first grandchild of the Alden Blacks. Doyl and Kathryn Ipson and family arrived from Hawaii on Friday. Isabel and Boyd Ipson and Ruth Henrie and family met them at the airport In Ce dar City. They will make their home In Cedar City where Doyl will serve as Seminary Coordinator for Southern Utah. Doyl, Kathryn and Boyd Ipson met Nila Mae Ipson in Salt Lake City Monday when she flew in from Halifax, Nova Scotia for two week visit here. Amelia Woodard attended the wedding of her granddaughter Wllma Joe Woodard, daughter Freeda Woodard, In Magna Friday. Mrs. Edna Clark and son Mike, spent a week In Page. Arizona, with her husband Don, returning home Friday. The Leonard Wilcock cabin at the Lake was the seen e of a good old fashioned get to gether last Saturday evening. Twenty-five people were there: the Grant Evans of Golden, Colorado and three grandsons: The Oren Bells of Bountiful and granddaughter; The George Proctors; Champ Churches; Wallace McEwens; Me redith Watts and son; Roy Tal-bots; Scott Robinsons; and Len and Vera Wilcock. Rulon and Fay Ella Prince dropped in for a while after having a big get-together with their family. A delicious chicken cook-out and all the trimmings was enjoyed by all. The evening was so beautiful and visiting was en joyed around a big bon fire. William and Thirza Proctor made a trip to Salt Lake City to see their new grandson Michael Kenneth Donleavy, born July 5 to Kenneth and Dorothy Donleavy. He has a sister at home to welcome him, Rhonda 4 years old. They stopped on the way home to visit Mrs. Ruth Davis. She is feeling some better. Leg still swollen. Rus- sel Worthen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hanson of Richfield has been visiting with the William Proctors. Bishop Merle Prince, his wife Pauline and five children from Chadron, Nebraska, spent five days visiting his parents Fay Ella and Rulon Prince. Howard and Kay Prince and three girls, also Brenda Bills of Bountiful were with them for two days. On Saturday, the 7th, Rula and Garry Porter and four children of Central, Mildred Deuel, Howard Prince and Mark Jones joined with them for a mutton cook-out at the Prince's Panguitch Lake cabin. Frank and Von Daly were among the Invited guests who welcomed Senators Kennedy and Tuney at Salt Lake City on their recent Utah visit. While up North they attended the Girls' Youth Conference at BYU at which Loralne, daughter of Art and Dorothy Cooper Chidester was honored, they met the Frank Coopers there. The W. C. Tebbs had all of their family home over the 4th of July Holiday; John and Myrtle from Provo ; Dr. William J. from Marina Del Rey, California; Dr. and Mrs. Sterling and family from Brigham and Art -nd Wenda Mae from the Rod Canyon Indian store. |
