Moore, in connection with a partner, arrived at Price station, Kmery county, via tlio I). & II. G. railway, One of the men, ns t-oon no tho Emery County bank opened, presented a check on tho Utah Commercial it Saving bank. Tho check was made payable to J. C. Mooro nnd wns signed "T. W. Dyer," nnd called for M. Tho check was paid nnd lioth men skipped out. Tho bank telegraphed Salt Lako nnd received nn aiiBwer that tho check wns not good. Sheriff, Fowler happened happen-ed to bo in Prico and went to work on tho case. At Urand Junction both were arrested and 4130 recovered. The men were brought back lo Price, wliero one of them mado n break for liberty. Itefoie tho Sheriff could got tlio remaining remain-ing fellow in irons again ho got into tlio brush out of sight. Then camo n most exciting chase, but the follow was dually du-ally found. Salt Lako 7t'mri.
