Show MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, daugh-ter, Lucille, and William Francis Butt of Lehi. The marriage took place Friday March 30th, in Salt Lake City. A wedding reception in their honor hon-or will be given Wednesday, April 11th at the Second ward amusement amuse-ment hall, to which more than two hundred guests are invited. 0 Mr. and Mrs. Harold A. Thorne and baby Janice of Salt Lake, were Pleasant Grove visitors Sunday. Jesse Higgins of California spent several days in Pleasant Grove last week visiting with friends. . Mr. and Mrs. Ferry Nielson were in Salt Lake Sunday to attend the funeral of a relative. LeGrande Jarman, representing the local Farm Bureau, spent several days in Ogden last week in the interest in-terest of the canning crops committee. com-mittee. Miss Peterson, Utah County demonstrator, dem-onstrator, gave a demonstration in cleaning at the Home and Community Communi-ty club Saturday at the home of Mrs. LeGrand Jarman. Mr. and Mrs. Mar telle Keetch were in Salt Lake last Thursday to visit with Mrs. Keetch's mother, Mrs. Clarence Koffard, who is in the L. D. S. hospital for medical treatment, previous to an operation for goitre. Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Ellsworth and three children of Payson, were dinner din-ner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Thome. After dinner the Ellsworths and Thornes motored to Salt Lake to visit with relatives. CITY WATER OF GOOD QUALITY According to a report from the Utah State Bacteriological Laboratory, Labora-tory, the water in the city culinary system is very good. The analysis made recently showed the color, odor and turbidity to be satisfactory, according ac-cording to Utah State Board of H"?.lth regulations. Three tests for harmful bacteria in the water supply all showed nega-1 nega-1 tive. |
