Show MIDLAND GARAGE SOLO; ALCER BKOTHERS OWNERS The Midland garage, the fine new and strictly up-to-date establishment built and owned by C. T. Bowen, changed hands last Monday and will be operated in the future bv Samuel N., Carlos, and Ralph Alger, who originally lived in Cleveland but who have been employed in the different coal camps of eastern Utah. All three of these young men are naturally inclined to mechanics and the matter of s epping into this new business, busi-ness, which, undoubtedly has a great future ahead of it, is lucky for both them and the people of the countv who, we are sure, will be treated right by the new proprietors. Randall Andersen, the clever youngster young-ster who has been employed by Bowen for better than a year now, and who has become expert in his knowledge know-ledge of the most intricate parts of the popular makes of cars, will remain with the new owners who will incorporate incor-porate and run their business in regulation regula-tion order. Samuel N. Alger, the oldest of the trio of the new owners, served three years as expert mechanic at Sunnyside but is now farming at Elmo where he is also acting as bishop's counselor. He will return to Elmo in a day or so to finish getting up his crops and will ihen move here for the winter's work until which time his brother Carlos, who is employed as electrician at Storrs, as sisted by Ralph, the youngest, who is also working at Storrs, will remain in charge. The residence adjoining, occupied oc-cupied by the Bowens during the past year, has also been purchased and will be occupied by the boys with their families. The garage is a great credit to Em ery county and would seem to be an excellent ex-cellent investment from every point of view. The stock of supplies will be kept up and it is understood that free air and water equipment will be established estab-lished handy for any traveler and other equipment added as fast as possible, among which will be a lathe with which they will be able to make and fit many of the parts it is now necessary to send ; away for. All kinds of plumbing goods j will oe carried and all plumbing jobs J carefully taken care of. i |
