Show ,J! COUNTY FAIR WELL ATTENDED AND GIVES SATISFACTION 3; The SaDpete County. Fair of 1926 " Is now a matter of History. The j E:: following are some of the comments from outside visitors including College Col-lege Professors that were present. 1 We have discussed your Fair, what we saw of it, and -we liave concluded that it has met the hopes which we a maintained fc,. it. ' Your officers and ethers who have worked on the matter are to be highly congratulated on thi3 splendid success.". Another one stales, "The Sheep of course were fine, up to the standard In every .respect. The Hampshire showings were much improved." Other comments follow: "The Agricultural Building was a credit to you all. The womens work and the Scout work was especially outstanding. outstand-ing. The home -made air Swing was unique. The officials were all couu t-fflus t-fflus and efficient and the crowd con-i con-i genial and happy. You are surely eady for a dynenometor for horse pulling. Men were discussing it even while judging sheep." I One of the Ladys' judges stated that the domestic art exhibit was fifty per cent better than she had , cvc.r seen in our previous County 1'ai'rs. The quality of work being specially outstanding this year. This has been by far the best at-:1 at-:1 tended County Fair in the History ; of Sanpete County. It has been variously var-iously e.-ti,mated that from 10,000 to 14,000 people attended the Fair this 1 year. This speaks well for the t.nuly U cnjnty fair idea that prevailed thru-j- out this year. Every one is feel- ing fine too, to know that the money haa stayed at home. |
