Show JAPAN'S EXHIBITION. A National Exposition to he Opened at Toklo. San FlUJsX'ISCO, April 11. Special. Reports received concerning the Opening of thu Japan Xalioiial Exposition Exposi-tion at Tokio, are lo the' effect that it is an immense affair, and that, it is thoroughly thor-oughly representative of the wealth and great resources of the country. For over five years they have been preparing prepar-ing for the exposition, at w hich all the products of the Japanese empire are shown. It is held in a natural park and the buildings cover nn area of ten acres. The buildings alone cost )U(,-000, )U(,-000, most of which was appropriated by tho government. The great collection of old masters of Japanese art is attracting at-tracting much attention. 'The emperor has his private collection on exhibition as also have many ofjthe richest private pri-vate c.iliens. |
