You may now access local weather reports, ski reports and the snow/avalanche report on the home page, all on the home page. The third report is especially useful for skiers and riders. The U.S. Forest Service Utah Avalanche Center and the National Weather Service provide expected wind speed and air temperature at resort elevations, as well as cloud cover and precipitation. They also list the quantitative precipitation estimates (inches of snow) for each Utah resort for the next night and day. Be prepared before you hit the slopes! Note, “riders” means snowboarders! He has earned the respect of Weber County government leaders and that of the committee members. Serving the interests of Eden motivated Dick to aggressively provide input to County planners. Each month he led the committee in an analysis of issues, prepared input for the County, and presented that input carefully and articulately. Dick plans to continue his service as a committee member. In recently completed elections Steve Clarke and Dan Van Zeben were named chairman and vice chairman respectively. They are eager to see the committee become more proactive with the town citizens and the county. They are pleased to announce that Kirk Langford has become an alternate member of the committee. The planning committee membership consists of Gary Bingham, Steve Clarke, Wade Creager, Dick Manley, Steve Robins, Dan Van Zeben, and Doug Wilson. Alternate members are Tom Halliday, Gloria Hirschi, Kirk Langford, and Stan Tixier. If you have planning issues related Eden, please provide your input to any of the members or alternates.
