Jane Redd is here for a two-wevisit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Redd. Jane recently graduated from nursing school in Ogden and Will be employed in mm QQeC GMp(&Qj8iDttj Specials for Septerr ek Salt Lake this winter. While Fern Simpson was in the Mercy Hospital in Durango recently, she was happily surprised by a visit from former Blanding resident Eulene Sitton. Eulene lives near her son Jimmy and his family on their ranch in Bayfield, Colorado. Eulene sends her best wishes to all her Blanding friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jones of Blanding went to Window Rock, Arizona recently to see their daughter Sharon crowned queen of the Window Rock Fair. Sharon lived in Blanding till she was 12, 'then she went on the Navajo Indian placement program. She hopes to return to Blanding next year to graduate from high school with her former classmates. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Roberts drove to Ephraim Friday to take, their daughter Jalaine and Angela Rigby and Allyn Chamberlain to Snow College. We wish these students much success. Dont forget that the next two weeks is the PTA membership drive. The fee is $2.50. Anyone interested in children is welcome to join. Hand your dues to either Linda Halliday or Laurel Reed. Monday was a most unusual day. We had four seasons all in one. First it rained, then the wind blew. The sun came out bright and warm and we saw some birds. Then it hailed.
