Sieber, 54, native Monticello living in Seattle, passed away September 3 of a heart attack. He was the son of Paul and Hortense Sieber. at the Veterans died He Hospital, Seattle Washington. He is survived by his wife Salley; four sons, Patrick, Paul, Vance and Fred; two daughters, Marlyn and April Sieber, all of Seattle, Washington; mother, Leethan of Orem; Hortense brother, Philip Eugene Sieber of Colorado; sister, Littleton, Carole Woulf of Boise, Idaho. Funeral services were at the Columbia Mortuary. Interment at Misty Meadows Cemetery in Seattle. Philip Sieber and his mother, Hortense Leetham, attended the funeral. Hawkins and Ken Hunt. Wilma Laws, 42, daughter of Dottie B. and the late Bill Laws, passed away Friday, September 24 at her home in Blanding. A San Juan High and Salt Lake Comptometer School graduate, Wilma worked as a bookkeeper at University of Utah in Salt Lake, at Quality Ford Sales and San Juan High school in Blanding, and preceding her illness was employed at Bonneville Industrial Supply Company in Orem, Utah. She served a mission in the Eastern States Mission field and as a counselor in the Primary Presidency of the Southwest Indian Mission. Funeral services were held Monday September 27 in the LDS North Chapel with Bishop Lloyd Bayles officiating. Familyprayer was offered by DarreH Davis. Services began with the opening song, Oh, Rose sung by a chorus composed of Wilma's cousins. Prayer, Betty Ann Hawkins and life hiikory, Julene Libberton. A poem written by DwiJit Laws was read by Dorthea Davis, Running has been used effectively to help persons who are mentally depressed. A clue to why running has a positive effect is that certain hormones called catecholamines are released into the bloodstream during running. These hormones are known to be low in persons suffering from depression! The level may increase as much as 500 percent during the exercise of running. Scattered showers, through the week, followed by heavy rains over the weekend delayed both planting and harvesting. Winter wheat seeding was nearing the halfway mark by the well behind last week's end Conditions for wheat should be good this fall if the weather wiU permit planting to continue. has been slowed on several fronts. Third crop hay was cut and much less than was rain damaged. Alfalfa of it seed harvest was stopped at 57 percent complete. Dry onion and potato digging were both been slowed by the of rains. Just over the potato crop, and 13 percent of the dry onions, hadbeen dug by the week's end. Onion growers in particular need some dry weather ' so the crop wiUcureproperly before going into storage.
