REX AHLSTKOM 1 Ahlstrom, ilouchen recite vows Charles Rex Ahlstrom claimed claim-ed Miss Cheryl Linda Houchen as his wife in a ceremony August 14 in the Cedar City Community Presbyterian Church. The bride was Siven away in marriage by her brother, bro-ther, Michael Houchen. That evening the nevvlyweds were honored at a reception in the BPOE Elks Lodge. Attending the bride were Mrs. Richard Winterrose, Ciss Julie Houchen, Mrs. Michael Houchen, and the Misses Jill and Robin Winterrose. Flower girl was Miss Angela Winterrose and the ring bearer bear-er was Travis Houchen. Best man for the nuptial occasion was Jack Lunt with Richard Winterrose and Lavoy Woolsey as ushers. The bride was radient in a dress of crystalette trimmed with white daisies. It featured a long train, full sieves, an empire waist, scoop neck and her veil of bridal net fell to fingertip length from a headpiece head-piece trimmed In lace, crystals crys-tals and pearls. She carried a. bouquet of pink roses, daisies and baby breath. j Mrs. Kournis Peters, mother of the bride choso a dross cf aqua for the occasion and the mother of thcibridcgroom, Mrs. Charles Ahlstrom selected Pink. . Attendants wore crepe drosses dros-ses with light pink bodices and dark pink skirts. They featured an 'empire waistline and wore trimmed with daisies. dais-ies. 'Their bouquets wore of white double daisies and baby breath. Serving were Annie Roberts, Sally Roberst, Marsha Bulloch, Annette Bulloch, Elaine Brai-thwiate, Brai-thwiate, Patty Ilulot, Chris Hair, Charrise Averett and Tori Bunting. In the gift room were Linda and Larraine Jensen. Prenuptial showers wore given the bride by Marie Gowen and Ruth Widig; Linda and Larraine Jensen and Velma Lundgren. The bridegroom is a graduate grad-uate of Cedar High School and attended the University of Utah. He is a sheet metal constructionist. con-structionist. The new Mrs. Ahlstrom also graduated from Cedar High School and has received re-ceived her teaching degree from Southern Utah State Col-I Col-I lege. |
