Show i Mark Nelson enters military service in 1967 and went on to Southern South-ern Utah State College. SSG. Frank Stastny, Cedar City Recruiter, Re-cruiter, added that it took quite awhile to plan for this enlistment and Mark plans on using the training when he returns to Cedar City on the ranch. He entered into active duty on August 12th and is currently in Basic Training at Fort Lewis, Wash. Upon graduation he will travel to Chicago to start his schooling in the Veterinary Field. Mark Richard Nelson, a Cedar Ce-dar City resident, has enlisted in the United States Army. For the enlistment option, Mark elected to attend the United States Army Veterinary Veterin-ary School located at Chicago, 111. He will attend the Food Inspection Course and be instructed in-structed in the Techniques and 'procedures of inspecting subsistence procured iby the Armed Forces, including fundamental fun-damental aspects of food processing pro-cessing technology and required re-quired standards of sanitation sanita-tion Mark will learn more detail de-tail about Veterinary administration, admin-istration, meat , dairy, and poultry technology, food preservation, pre-servation, and stasitical, sampling. samp-ling. Mark has been living in Cedar City with his wife, and his parents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nelson. He graduated from Cedar City .High School |
