Present '76 Program TM.tH.R1 POUI.SKK BY I LA MAE JOHN Bicentennial Program at Sacrament Meeting Sunday evening at the Portage Ward. All in attendance were thrilled with the special music and spoken word presented. The Malad Stake sponsored their annual Golden Age party Wednesday at the Samaria Ward. Dinner was served and a lovely program presented. Those attending from Portage were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil C. Harris, Pearl McCrary, Laura Gibbs, Esther John and Dave Gibbs. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Turley of Salt Lake spent Friday and Saturday at the home of Mrs. Turley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Hall. They came after their daughters, Shantelle and Tiffany, who had spent the week v.siting their grandparents. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Henry this week vere Mr. and Mrs. Bert I onney and daughter, Pam of Ellensburg, Washington. They all enjoyed Monday visiting Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Devere Harris joined Mr. and Mrs. Leland Cottle in St. Anthony, Idaho where they hosted a luncheon at the Pantry for the agents of the National Public Service Insurance Company in that area. Following the luncheon the foursome went to West Yellowstone and attended the Play Mill Theatre and stayed overnight at Henry's Lake. Tuesday they visited Cook City and went over the pass into Cody, Wyoming and returned home Tuesday night. Dr. and Mrs. Max Conley and family of Bountiful visited Mr. and Mrs. John F. Conley Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Harris and family of Salt Lake City were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil C. Harris Friday. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Reid Harris and daughter, Janet of North Salt Lake joined them and they all attended the William D. Harris family reunion at Lava Hot Springs at Lava, Idaho. Others attending from Portage were Mr. and Mrs. David Gibbs, Mrs. Laura Gibbs, Mrs. Gaye Smith and Miss Rhisa Gibbs of San Diego, California. Mr. and Mrs. James Udy and family were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Larson in Poca-tellIdaho. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hoskins visited Mrs. Lillian Gibbson in McCam-maIdaho Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hoskins took their granddaughter, Kathy to her home in Ogden. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hoskins and she had visited in Portage this week. Mr. and Mrs. Reid Harris and Janet of north Salt Lake o, n, were Saturday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil C. Harris. Janet stayed with her grandparents for the week. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hoskins visited Mr. and Mrs. Jim Estep of Plymouth Wednesday. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Henry were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bonney and daughter of Ellensburg, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Shepherd of Paradise, Mr. and Mrs. William Hawks and family of Kearns. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Cannon of San Diego were Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Hall. The Cannons were on their way to a Canadian vacation. .7 Elder Devere Harris was called to a special meeting of the church office build ings in Salt Lake Sunday.
