They are men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. All categories are open to all ages. Two matches will be played in each category each week. The first match will be played on Thursday to Saturday, and the second on Monday to Wednesday. Sunday will be excluded. "Games are scheduled to be played at the tennis courts because of the improved netting," Daloff said. "Some games will also be played at the high school courts," he continued. A few rules to remember for the best results in the tourney are: A miss is a forfeit, two out of three regular tennis sets are needed to win a match, and all participants must furnish a new can of tennis balls at their first match. TIMES, July D Fielding Bests Fourth und- of Allen Williams from Tremonton, defeated the Brigham City All Stars in a game tournament last week. The County All Stars are a combination of the best players from Willard, Perry and Tremonton. The young Pony Leaguers posted their first win last Tuesday in Willard in a 12-victory in the series opener. Pitcher Steve Kapp went the first five innings and was relieved by Kelly Facer during the remaining two as everyone that went to bat collected a hit. The second game was played Thursday at Brig-haand the Brigham All Stars were hungry for a win. They pretty much con- trolled the first four innings. ' It looked as though they would even up the series until Dale Jensen doubled to tie the score. They went on to win under heavy hitting from Steve Brimberry and Mike Rose. Mike Giles was credited with that pitching victory.
