Show Registration at j the University! Plans for the special instruction and registration period for freshmen fresh-men students to be conducted Thursday. Special instructions coverings the entiie period will be given at tne opening meeting, Thursday, Sep-n; Sep-n; . o nn a f Lectures r0 be given during the three days will cover such important subjects as the work of the various schools, how to register, how to study, the history of the University, its ideals, traditions, organization, the physical phys-ical pianl, scholarship standards, eligibility for activities, and the responsibilities re-sponsibilities of the new students. Attendance during this period is compulsory and the registration oi those who fail to attend will be delayed. de-layed. Students who fail to take either the English placement examination or the psychological examination which were given in most of the high schools cf the State last spring must report at the University Univers-ity Wednesday, September 24 at 9:00 A. M. Though neither oi these examinations is an entrance examination, no student will be allow-ed to register until he has taken them. All former students and trans fer students from other universities 'or iunior colleges will report fo registration on Monday.
